Аннотация: In this article activity of auxiliary school ― specialized educational institution for people with disabilities is considered. The training structure, its specifics, and also a place of educational institutions of this type in educational space of Sweden are analyzed. The author emphasizes continuity of educational process, and principal programs realized in this type of educational institutions. The article may be of interest to experts in the field of education, correctional pedagogy, and the researchers who are focusing their attention on countries of Northern Europe as the problem of position of people with disabilities in society discussed in the article still remains debatable. Described experience of integration of people with developmental disorders in the Swedish educational system can also be useful for Russia as one of the ways of addressing the situation of disabled people in society, the actual problem all countries are facing in the 21st century.
