| Ключевые слова: Swedish language politics public agencies | Аннотация: The article presents a colligation and systemization of some Swedish public agencies actions, which promote the Swedish language around the world (The Swedish Academy, The Language Council, Institute for the Languages of Finland, The Co-ordinating Committee for Nordic Studies Abroad, The Swedish Institute, The Royal Society for Swedish Culture Abroad). While defining organizations purposes the author also describes different ways of their fulfillment. At the beginning of the article the historical background and the political situation which led to the creation of such system are depicted. Special focus is on obtained results, leading to accretive interest to Swedish in other countries. Apart from above there is a list of printed and electronic sources, congresses and conferences on this matter. Information on various grants and fellowships for people with different academic background and the rest of the represented data will be useful for lecturers in Swedish, for students and for general public, who are interested in public life in northland. The described experience may be transferred and used in Russia. © Petrozavodsk State University |
