Аннотация: Based on a wide range of the documents, primarily on archival sources, the article presents an analysis of the operations of the military counterintelligence of the Karelian Front and regional NKVD bodies of the Karelo-Finnish SSR for liquidation of Finnish intelligence schools in the operational zone of the Karelian Front. Special attention is given to cooperation of the head of the 4th Department of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of the USSR Pavel A. Sudoplatov and the 4th division of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of the KFSSR. It is shown that due to Soviet counterintelligence’s effort, Finnish and German intelligence didn’t manage to commit any important sabotage in the rear operational zone of RKKA during the Great Patriotic War.
