Аннотация: The soul is one of the defining issues of philosophy. Various views, interpretations or speculations do not give sufficiently clear picture of this phenomenon. From a philosophical point of view, the relevance and significance of the topic is determined by the correlations that appeal to the topology of human mental and moral efforts. The article problematizes the dynamics of interpretation of the phenomenon of the soul on the basis of the research preferences that psychologize and ontologize the studied concept. The author refers to some of the views of Aristotle, Descartes, Locke, Dilthey and Husserl.
