Аннотация: What encourages a person towards freedom and at the same time limits this will? Is it possible to speak of a measure of freedom, and if so, by what can it be measured? It may not be about rational quantitative measures, but about irrational axiological ones. This measure ranges from absolute freedom, fraught with anarchy and destructiveness, to complete submission and slav-ery, based on the awareness of the normative boundaries of necessity and possibilities: energy, legal, moral, deontological ones, etc. The quantitative measure of freedom can be determined on the basis of the “golden ratio”.
