| Ключевые слова: Russian labor market youth work ethic normative uncertainty exit strategies ghosting | Аннотация: The article examines the current state of the Russian labor market through the lens of empirical indicators that capture its changes from 2020 to 2025. Drawing on data from VCIOM, HeadHunter, HSE University, Rosstat, and other sources, the study identifies three categories of indicators: macroeconomic (persistent labor shortages, a shrinking youth workforce); behavioral (growing subjective confidence, a shift in value priorities toward flexibility and self-realization, high propensity for job mobility); and institutional (lagging and uneven adaptation by employers). The aim of this study is to provide a sociological interpretation of these indicators. Based on this interpretation, the study formulates assumptions regarding potential interconnections between structural, value-based, and resource conditions. These assumptions are not empirically tested within this paper and are outlined as a framework for further research. © Petrozavodsk State University |
