Аннотация: This paper explores Immanuel Kant’s notion that human will is determined by an a priori principle, on the one hand, and by an a posteriori motive, on the other hand, and examines the necessity of aligning human behavior with the former. Drawing on such a principle, the study uncovers the essence of humanity and its distinctiveness in comparison to other forms of life. Given that the principle is an indispensable aspect of human existence, this article emphasizes its essential characteristics.
